Established as a 501c3 in 2013, Beauty Changes Lives is a non-profit organization awarding beauty school tuition scholarships generously funded by leading beauty brands. The Beauty Changes Lives scholarship portfolio includes tuition scholarships for aspiring hairstylists, nail professionals, estheticians, makeup artists, massage therapists and barbers. In addition to “basic” scholarships, Beauty Changes Lives offers “advanced” scholarships for licensed professionals, including beauty educators. Since its inception, Beauty Changes Lives has awarded more than 500 scholarships, opening doors of opportunity that range from working behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week, to opening thriving businesses. The Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation was established in 1994 by his wife of 39 years, Flo Francis, and the many people whom Joe Francis advised and mentored to their own success in the industry. The mission of the foundation is to help deserving students receive financial assistance for the professional training necessary to build successful, long-term careers in the cosmetology industry. Give Back helps students who need guidance to determine what their future goals are, students who face significant financial challenges and those who have experienced barriers to success such as foster care, homelessness, or the incarceration of a parent. We are empowering students to build resilience, overcome adversity, and find pathways to become self-reliant adults and leaders of their communities. Students participate in programming and receive coaching (mentoring) starting in 7th grade and beyond to prepare them for an education and a career. students must be enrolled in Giveback prior to graduating high school. We help students explore different career opportunities and get hands-on experience while in school. We assist students with applying for and understanding their financial options for their next level of education.

Elevate your education with Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute. This scholarship opportunity is designed for soon to be graduates and newly licensed skin therapists. Download application form. Send in both the application form and creative submission by 1 of the 3 due dates to show “Why Professional Skin is Your Passion”. Due dates are March 1st, July 1st and November 1st. Submissions are awarded 3 times a year on April 1st, August 1st and December 1st.
